Ever wondered what a day with Samba Dogs looks like? It starts early — usually before the city fully wakes up. Roberto prepares the vehicle, checks safety equipment, and goes through the list of dogs scheduled for walks, day care, or pet sitting.

Pickups begin around 7 AM. One by one, familiar faces greet us with wagging tails, ready for adventure. Once the group is complete, it’s time to head to one of London’s beautiful parks. Battersea, Hampstead Heath, Hyde Park — each offers a different experience.

During the walk, dogs enjoy both structure and freedom: time for recall training, time for play, and time to simply explore the world together. Roberto observes personalities, monitors group dynamics, and ensures everyone feels comfortable.

After the walk, dogs are safely transported home, clean and tired — ready for a nap and a peaceful day.

What makes this job special? The trust. When a dog looks back during the walk just to make sure you’re there, you know you’ve become part of their world. That bond is what Samba Dogs is built on.
